Our Commitment to Accessibility

At editfar, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

editfar is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Accessibility Features

editfar includes the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard Navigation: All functionality is operable through a keyboard interface without requiring specific timings for individual keystrokes.
  • Text Alternatives: We provide text alternatives for non-text content so that it can be changed into other forms people need, such as large print, braille, speech, symbols or simpler language.
  • Adaptable Content: We create content that can be presented in different ways without losing information or structure.
  • Distinguishable Content: We make it easier for users to see and hear content including separating foreground from background.
  • Color Contrast: Our text and interactive elements maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 to ensure readability.
  • Resizable Text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Dark Mode: We offer a dark mode option to reduce eye strain and improve readability for some users.
